Chase Elliott hit the wall on Sunday at the Brickyard 400. He finished in 26th place. The vehicle hit hard but Elliott said the damage stayed minor. Afterwards, Alex Bowman said he will retire after 2027. Bowman’s exit opens a vacancy that may be filled by Conner Zilisch in 2028. Elliott only mentioned Bowman post crash, without discussing driver reshuffle.
