The long-running Festival d'Été de Québec closed with high numbers. Major acts played several stages on Grande-Allée and at Parc de la Francophonie. Organisers counted a larger number of attendees than ever before. Opening night had some issues that risked becoming a larger problem. Heavy rain caused headaches on several days. Still, locals kept coming back despite the hurdles. A simple check after the event showed nearly all people were pleased with how it ran, even with the bumps along the way .
