Humana is ending several Medicare Advantage plans in 2027. Non-renewal notices will go out in early October. One report says up to 600,000 members may be impacted. Another estimate shows 64,000 seniors at risk of losing coverage. The letters will be sent in early October, as planned.

The company has not disclosed which counties or plan types are being eliminated. This gives affected beneficiaries a narrow window to compare alternatives during Medicare open enrollment. The insurer has not provided a list of affected plans.
