Paramount is developing a sequel to the classic romantic comedy How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. Kate Hudson will serve as a producer. The new project comes 23 years after the original movie debuted. Hudson and actor Matthew McConaughey are expected to reunite for the film.
Variety, BBC, British Vogue, Yahoo, and the-independent.com reported the announcement on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. The new movie brings Hudson back to handle producing duties for the sequel. Other stars are currently unknown. Filming timelines are not available yet. They have not shared an official release date at this time.
