Michael Taaffe received his first NFL start. He finished with his first career interception. The Miami Dolphins rookie safety intercepted Kirk Cousins after the break. Taaffe lined up at safety with Zayne Anderson. Dante Trader Jr. was not part of the starting safety duo. The interception came on the opening drive of the half. It gave Miami the ball on the opening possession of the half. Kirk Cousins later threw his third scoring pass. That gave them a lead of 24-13 at that stage. Taaffe's takeaway stood as the rookie's maiden NFL interception of his career.
