Bandai Namco revealed the Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO and the RG Project vision on July 23, 2026. Director Kenji Kamiyama will take the helm for the upcoming anime, scheduled to premiere in the following year. The project introduces a fresh Gundam universe, completely separate from prior canon. The XARX-ZERO is connected to the forthcoming Gundam Rogue Orbit project. Kamiyama is working to construct a new timeline for the series.
