Peter Navarro, a Trump's trade advisor, has asked Canadian lobbyists to avoid the U.S., according to multiple reports. Navarro's remarks were part of a wider communication warning Canada against interfering in the upcoming U.S. midterm elections. The Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, has declined to apply further trade pressure, despite Navarro's warnings. The incident has sparked a diplomatic confrontation between the two nations.
