A huge Burmese python was caught in the Big Cypress Preserve, Florida. It's greater than any formerly recorded snake. Conservationists and scientists worked together to identify it. This demonstrates the difficulty of regulating invasive python species in the Everglades. The discovery is part of efforts to stop these snakes from increasing.
