SpaceX lifted off with a Starlink mission early on Aug. 25. The rocket flew as planned. It was the 37th time for that Falcon booster, marking a fresh rocket reuse record. The flight represented the 100th Falcon 9 launch of 2026. Early morning viewers expected to spot a jellyfish effect in the sky. Spaceflight Now and Space broadcasted live coverage of the event.
SpaceX also planned to announce its Louisiana plans on Aug. 25. Elsewhere, NASA positioned its next star space telescope atop a Falcon Heavy rocket. That launch happens Aug. 30.
