Police arrested a man from Kippens following a theft at a liquor store in Stephenville. Officers placed the suspect under arrest and found a knife on him when he was searched during the arrest.

The Kippens resident is now facing over 40 pending charges in addition to new charges stemming from the liquor store theft in Stephenville. Officers discovered the knife on the suspect while executing the arrest. The man faces court appearances for the recent theft along with his more than 40 pre-existing outstanding charges.
