Apple began rolling out iOS 27 across the country in Australia this week. The update is ready for compatible iPhone models. To set it up, open Settings. Then tap General. Then tap Software Update. The phone will scan for the update and list it if the device is eligible. Not every older device will get iOS 27. The launch date for iOS 27 is September 14, 2026. So the release is live now. A number of iPhone users will spot the update straight away. Others won't. The result is based on the handset.
