London police located a small marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff identified the helpless animal on July 18. The animal was frightened and had no food while shivering. It withstood the harsh ordeal. Animal advocates called it an criminal abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers found a previously unknown monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery emerged during a regular survey in the Congo Basin.
